...for those who were looking forward to some 5 minute chocolate cake. Be sure that your mug is large enough, or you may end up with a large mess in your microwave. It was still yummmmmmy.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. The dress over at Made by Petchy's was super easy. I'm still a beginner at sewing at it is awesome. By the way, the five minute cake I think turns out much, much better in a bowl. Here is a post I did on it: http://miean.blogspot.com/2008/11/what-mess.html.
A note, though, that I added a homemade frosting to it (hence why it looks so gooey). It doesn't normally look this gooey normally, but it turns out pretty yummy. Also, try it with white chocolate chips...my husband loves it that way.
Oh, another thing about the bowl I used...it is shallower than most bowls and wider. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
And...(I'm sorry if I keep going on)..after much testing I find that if you plan to use chocolate chips, put them in just immediately prior to putting them in the microwave. If you put them in too early or stir them in with the batter, they tend to sink to the bottom of the bowl. I like my chips distributed around the whole cake instead of the bottom of it - but that's me - you might like it some other way. ^_^

haha. You crack me up Katie. However it's good to know to use a big mug to avoid a volcano...or you could call it volcano mug cake:)
Volcano mug cake is a way cuter name!
The mess...not so cute. Yikes!
