Logan and Duncan are the best of friends. Logan is so sweet with him, which is amazing as he is constantly abusing Myra. He loves to make Duncan laugh.

He also is really good about sharing toys and books with him.
Logan actually brought this one over just to read to Duncan. They share a deep love of Thomas the Train.

Summer Reading

I finally got the books unpacked. It took a while. We have a lot of books. Myra has enjoyed rediscovering her old favorites.
And she's found some new ones to love. The Red Badge of Courage piqued her interest today.

Here is a clip of her reading it to baby. The end is my favorite part...
After she finished reading it, she shared it with baby.
And this has nothing to do with anything, but holy cow, that baby is cute!! And cross-eyed. But still cute. He loves Tigger.

When you have 4 train sets, you can make really cool tracks.
I helped a little with the execution, but Logan designed this one himself.

Still here...

I just realized that I haven't posted anything in nearly a month. We're still here, but Mitch has been working insane hours and I'm trying to get the house into some semblance of order. How does it work that we move into a bigger house and still don't fit! Aaargh! The kids are settling in well though. As you can see, we found their toys...

Bouncing Boy!

I unpacked the bouncer today and thought I'd try it out on Duncan. The other two kids merely tolerated it as babies, but Duncan is definitely a fan!

How cute is that giggle??

ETA: He likes it so much that while I was writing this post he actually fell asleep in it!!

Rolling along

Since we don't have much in the way of furniture, we've all been spending a lot of time on the floor, and Duncan has been practicing his rolling.

He can get all the way across the room. I think this time his goal was the blocks.
He made it!
He has also sprouted his first tooth!
You may have to click to blow up the picture. It's just a wee little nub at the moment.
